food storage for emergencies

have you started any prepping yet? put away any food storage? why not?! in these tough times it pays to stay ahead!
if you think you can't afford it think again! you may not be able to spend hundreds of
dollars buying barrels of food but you can plan meals and put them away for little money. what about spaghetti? i am not gonna list what is necessarily the healthiest brands but rather what is cheap and easy to fix in case of ..... spaghetti noodles cost about one dollar. hunts spaghetti sauce is a dollar a can. grab these and store them. rice is a dollar bag. we top ours with a bit of butter and brown sugar. you can add it to broth with vegies and have a simple soup. canned vegies and canned broths are less than a dollar each!  buy one can of premade soup each shopping trip. buy one can of premade ravioli each trip. these soon add up to full meals for each person in the family. if you add a can of fruit to the soup you have an easy to make emergency meal. not necessarily what you always serve but an emergency meal.    keep these things in mind when shoppingand stock up!
