hey there its 5 A.m.. at the homestead and I am up with nothing to do! that's right I have nothing to do.
it only takes a few minutes to clean house. I simply make the beds,wipe off the dining table and sweep and then I am done!
I do dishes when I need to after I heat the water and pour it in the big tub I use to wash. usually this is after supper.
wash days or laundry is done on Friday afternoon at the laundromat until our well is dug.
school takes about three hours but no one else is up right now to do it lol
I am not blogging much since I don't have computer access very often but I am on Facebook and Twitter with my cell phone.
when I do get a chance to go somewhere and plug in the computer we use it to check on our bank account, blogs I like to read, and we charge it so we can watch a DVD that night.
I have planted tomatoes and peppers, as well as a lot of dill that I used to make ranch dressing . I plan to plant okra and cucumbers this weekend. I have also planted a lot of flowers! sorry for the lack of pictures but my husband won't let me post any!!
I have added a gold laced wyandotte rooster and four naked neck hens to my brood of Chickens. We also have three Rhode Island hens and nine Rhode Island pullets.
we are trying to decide if we want goats or cows. I want milk for my family and the fencing for cows is much cheaper.
I have been visiting goat farms recently and I don't feel anything special about them but I do feel something when I visit my neighbors cows.
