This is our homeschooling schedule for 2013.
Bible (We will use it for narration, handwriting, and listening)
Character First
Spelling - I use Spelling Power to cull words from
Math - Rod and Staff or Saxon, depending on grade
Old Testament studies - we use the GreenLeaf Press book to guide us
English - Rod and Staff
Lunch
Read Aloud Time
Plants Grown Up/Polished Cornerstones, from Doorposts
Science and history come from so many sources I can't list them all!
While I am working with the boys in their Plants Grown Up, the girls will be reading their history and science, then I'll switch kids!
I am using the above resources for my 3 oldest, 8th grade, 6th grade, and 5th grade. I am using Alpha Omega Lifepacs with my eight year old and the Rod and Staff preschool for my k level son.
The reason we are having a scheduled time and curriculum is because at this time in our lives we are organizing so many things on the farm and in our prepping that we need to keep a tight rein on everything, just to keep Mama sane! LOL
