Challenges

Well with temps reaching almost 100 daily it has been very HOT. We drive to the park daily since the park is filled with trees and the area around my house isn't. It is much much cooler at the park!
We take a portable propane grill with us and I fix lunch and supper there. This costs much less than fast food!!
We have been sleeping on the trampoline some nights. The house takes so long to cool off that it is just easier that way.
Yes it's boring at the park. But we survive! We read, do school workbooks, play, and eat our meals. Sometimes we lie back and close our eyes!
It is a tough time right now. But I am trying to learn lessons from this experience and help others thru their trying times. Remember off grid living takes some getting used to!
So many of you have said you envy this lifestyle. Well if you enter into it beware! You have to change your thought processes and preformed ideas of how things should be. And  you learn quickly what your priorities are!!
